Sundries

Teachers have necessary summer breaks and I am very thankful for them. We need to recharge to do our best for a new crop of children and reflect on what we want to change or do more of for the coming year. I can’t say this year’s was very restorative and inspiring, it was also very short, but it was a break and needed. I slept in, sat in chairs daydreaming, and I took photos of travels to the Carolinas and to St. Louis. I am sharing those today. Barely any preparation was done for teaching first grade this August, but that’s how it went this year. Hoping my joie de vivre kicks in soon.
