Cover art from some Freeman Wills Crofts mysteries -- Garbo

Last week's post was about Freeman Wills Crofts, who wrote dozens of popular police procedural novels. If you would like to see that blog entry, you can find it by scrolling back a few posts to June 28 at the blog archive on Facebook, which is HERE.   Many of Crofts novels have been reprinted multiple times in the last hundred years, and some of them had striking cover art. This week, I offer some examples.

If you think this version of The Cask is lurid, there's a Chinese edition that makes this one look mild.

Next week: A whole new topic!
