St.Louis photo blog this week. I have wanted to look around inside the Versailles apartment building for ages. I’ve finally been able to. This painting hangs in the drawing room of the building. I suspect a tenant painted it. It’s signed Liu, and I really like it. This is a painting of the statue of King Louis on the grounds of the art museum. Below is a shot from the elevator. A beautiful little gem of an elevator. Up until 20 years ago, they paid an elevator attendant more than I make as a teacher.
I drove around the usual haunts briefly, the Cherokee area is pictured below, then over to the Benton Park neighborhood.
Cute lamp I always admire at this venue.
