This long weekend has included a trip to Largo, north of Tampa, to hear Martin (of Jethro Tull) Barre's band. The next morning we stopped in St. Petersburg for a wonderful visit to the Dali Museum. A few paintings we'd hoped to see were on loan, but there were also some I hadn't seen before. The cafe there serves excellent food, mostly Spanish dishes, and their chef is always switching things up, seasonally. If you go, get the Sangria.
In my continuing adventures in the consequences of poor time management, it is time to finish grading and write report cards. This stormy, rumbling, moody-sky, day is helping me stay unfocused...not that I need any help. But I'm going to sit at my desk in a matter of minutes. In less than an hour...
I'm sharing a 2 minute video of part of our drive over Skyway Bridge, which I recommend viewing with SOUND OFF. This is about halfway across the bridge. It always amazes me to see the sparkling water. I haven't been the passenger until this trip, and I didn't think of filming it until halfway across.
You know... I think I might have told Florida, I love you, this week...
Also, here is a nice song performed by the Martin Barre band, ignore if you hate prog rock.
Hoping you've carved out time for things you love and enjoy this week.
